NPIC (Northern Pathology Imaging Co-operative) is a unique collaboration between NHS, Academic and Industry partners. Beginning in 2019, NPIC will deploy digital pathology across hospitals in the North of England and will develop artificial intelligence tools to help diagnose cancer and other diseases

- Full digitisation of NHS laboratories covering population of 3 million people
- 760,000 slides per year
- 1 Petabyte of pathology image data per year covering all specialties and stains

- Linkages to clinical data and custom dataset generation
